Job Description for PR ACCOUNT MANAGER position at

Key responsibilities :


Account management


*     Demonstrate a solid understanding of clients’ business and industry.

*     Providing client counsel on strategic and tactical communication-related matters.

*     Provide daily and pro-active account management via phone, email and direct contact with clients. Major PR highlights include but are not limited to: Corporate communications strategy, Digital marketing, media relations, Creative writing, and Issues/Crisis management, CSR.

*     Act as liaison between clients and their stakeholders, Account team and management to ensure flawless communications and campaign execution.

*     Responsible for nurturing client relations that include on-going consultation, review meetings and entertainment as appropriate

*     Prepare competitive quotations as per clients requirements and internal budgets

*     Prepare post campaign evaluation


 Resources Management


*     Update the company’s supplier database on a quarterly basis to ensure quality and cost competitiveness

*     Pro-actively manage relationships with collaborators and vendors, e.g. copywriters, editors, media booking and creative agencies to ensure the right resources are readily available when needed


Media Relations

*     Develop good relations with target media contacts using the agency's existing database                            

*     Manage project timeline and contents of editorials or advertorials as per the agreed messaging framework

*     Manage executive interviews and ensure good editorial outcome

*     Lead the team to manage press events that include but are not limited to media invitation, logistics, press releases, speeches, facesheets, Q&A, speaker profile, MC script, etc. and follow up with media invitees on coverage   


Business development                                                                                                                                         

*     Grow/penetrate existing accounts by marketing additional services of the agency     

*     Proactively approach prospective clients to present agency credentials and discuss Client needs

*     Develop proposals and offer clients unique solutions to secure new business           


Leadership and Teamwork


*     Provide direct oversight, management, leadership and guidance to team of Account Supervisor(s) and Account Executive(s) and others.


II. Job requirements

*     University degree or higher in a related discipline with 5 years experience in PR, corporate/marketing communications advertising.  Presentable and confident.
 Fluency in both written and spoken English, Vietnamese

*     Excellent writing skills for PR campaign purposes including press releases, executive biographies, fact sheets, all other materials for mass media. Experience in journalism and editing is an advantage

*     Creative ideas for clients’ event planning.

*     Excellent PPT presentation skills.

*     Excellent inter-personal skills 

*     Proven ability to establish good rapport with Clients

*     Flexibility, problem solving and decision making skills.

*     Able to work under tight deadlines 

*     High integrity, sociable and trustworthy, open-minded and self reliant

*     Previous experience in a similar position with a reputable agency is a plus
