CERAMIC MACHINERY TECHNOLOGY SEMINAR

Hanoi (Nov 4-5) and Ho Chi Minh City (Nov 6-7)

Italian Trade Commissioner, Bruna Santarelli addresses the seminar attendees in Hanoi

Seven leading Italian companies will take part in the Technical Seminar and B2B Session on Italian Ceramic Machinery in Vietnam 2014 on Nov. 4-5 at Pullman Hanoi and Nov. 6-7 at Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. They will present their technical production and specialized machinery lines dedicated to ceramic production.

The seminar is held by the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) and is billed as an exclusive event dedicated to manufacturers, importers and distributors of ceramic machinery in Vietnam. Leading Italian technical experts will introduce machinery, production lines and make presentation about their outstanding technical features in the current ceramic industry. 80 representatives from Vietnam enterprises will be on hand to meet and greet the Italian contingent.

Mrs. Bruna Santarelli, Vietnam’s Italian Trade Commissioner said “We believe in the strong growth of trade and investment cooperation in the field of ceramics between the two Countries. Through the seminar and business-to-business meetings, Vietnamese and Italian enterprises will have the opportunity to develop their business cooperation as well as exchange information about technology, equipment and technical features from the stages of raw material processing to decoration and distribution of finished products.”

Currently, Italy is the World’s ceramic industry leader for innovative technologies and aesthetics. One of the outstanding features in Italian ceramics technology is its green production chain – an environmental friendly process with maximum savings of fuel and raw materials along with harmful emissions reduction from manufacturing. Moreover, Italy is also famous for its digital decoration system which results in the highest image quality.
According to the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics (ACIMAC) in 2011-2012, exports of Italian technical equipment related to tile manufacturing to Asia occupied 16.9% of the total export turnover. Despite the global crisis and the economic difficulties in Italy, the country remains at the top of the ceramics industry, with export of forming machines reaching 201 million euros and glazing-decoration machines 303.3 million euros.
